Since joining Radius in March 2008, Mr. Butler has transformed the Bank into an innovative leader in the financial services industry, one focused on delivering superior customer service and leading-edge technology to its clients. Under his direction, Radius has diversified their product offerings beyond consumer and business deposit accounts, by acquiring the equipment financing division of NewStar Financial, expanding the Bank’s for Government Guaranteed Lending footprint nationwide, and developing a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform that allows fintechs to leverage Radius’ expertise and technology to power personal and business banking solutions. During his tenure, Radius has been named Best Online Bank by Bankrate, Best Checking Account by Nerdwallet, Best Business Checking account for Growing Business by Fundera, as well as finalist for best fintech partnership by both Tearsheet and Finovate. Prior to joining Radius, Mike served as President, National Consumer Finance at KeyCorp in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a graduate of Providence College and the ABA’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Mike serves as a member of the Financial Services Committee for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, on the Board of Trustees for Thompson Island Outward Bound, and has been active with the Habitat for Humanity program. He was previously recognized as an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® New England Finalist.
Executive Vice President | Chief Data Officer
Dr. Clarke is responsible for overseeing Radius’ technology roadmap, including the development of core infrastructure to support originations and account management. In addition, he leads efforts to acquire data, develop analytics and models to empirically drive decisions across all functional areas including fraud, credit, and marketing. Chip has more than 26 years in financial services. He joins Radius from Keycorp, where he held a variety of statistical modeling and risk management roles. Chip holds an undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University and a PhD in Behavioral Statistics from Baylor University.
Executive Vice President | Chief Risk Officer
Mark is responsible for providing company-wide strategic and tactical leadership in establishing Radius’ risk appetite. He also governs the overall identification, assessment, communication, measurement, and management of enterprise risk, including regulatory compliance. Mark is a proven manager, collaborator, and credit/risk platform developer with 25+ years of experience ranging from traditional C&I and CRE business lines, to highly complex fixed asset and equipment finance businesses. Prior to joining Radius in 2016, he served as Director and Group Credit Manager for NewStar Financial. He has also held positions at TD Bank, Bank of America and US Trust. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree Communications from Boston College, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
Executive Vice President | Equipment Finance President
Mr. Hunt is responsible for the credit underwriting, transaction structuring, pricing, and documentation of indirect and direct originations within the Equipment Finance division for the Bank. Stephen joined the Radius team in 2016 when the Bank acquired the equipment leasing division of NewStar Financial, Inc. With over 35 years of experience in equipment financing and leasing, Stephen has held positions at Banc of America Leasing, Eastern Bank, Bank Boston Leasing, EUA Cogenex Corp, and The CIT Group. Mr. Hunt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Bowdoin College.

Mr. Lenahan is responsible for managing all financial and residential portfolio operations for Radius. Mike joined Radius in 2018 and has over 24 years of experience in financial services and public accounting roles. He previously served as an Executive Director at JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A. Mike has also held senior finance roles at State Street Corporation and Investors Bank & Trust Company. Mr. Lenahan holds a Master of Science in Accounting degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University in addition to his Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from The College of the Holy Cross. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A resident of Middleborough, MA, Mr. Lenahan currently serves as the Treasurer of the Middleboro Sunday School Basketball League which provides youth development and coaching through basketball competition to over 400 Middleborough children.

Ms. Mackey is responsible for managing the Institutional Banking’s national sales team and relationship support unit and expanding the focus and verticals the division serves. The department currently provides Deposit & Cash Management services, API Banking, and Escrow services for Commercial & Technology companies, Union/Labor pension & benefit funds, and non-profits. Brenda joins Radius in 2020 and brings over 20 years of experience in financial and cash management services. Her last 9 years were spent with East Boston Savings Bank, where she served as First Vice President in the Group Head, Cash Management division. Her previous positions include First Vice President as Electronic Banking Manager with Danversbank and Assistant Manager in Accounting & Deposit Services with Marblehead Bank. Ms. Mackey graduated from Bridgewater State University and received certificates from the National School of Banking, Fairfield University and the Babson School of Management.

Phil is responsible for managing deposit and loan operations, internal technology, and product management/development. He has over 33 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Radius in April 2016, he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Product Management & Development at People’s United Bank. Phil has also held roles at Danvers Bank, Citizens Bank, and Bank of America. Mr. Peters holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Salem State University and a Graduate Certificate of Specialized Studies in Business Administration & Management from Harvard University Extension.

Chris is responsible for managing the Virtual Bank, Radius’ approach to digital national consumer and small business banking that combines innovative products, leading-edge technology, FinTech partnerships, and superior customer service delivered through our Call Center and Financial Center teams. He also oversees the Bank’s marketing and public relations department. Prior to joining Radius in December 2008, he held various roles within KeyBank’s Consumer Finance division. Chris was recognized by Bank Innovation as a “2016 Innovator to Watch” and an “Innovation All-Star: Rising Star” in 2012 by the Boston Business Journal. Chris earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
